Econtainer Recycled Shipping Container

Today rather than the usual homes and offices we have seen produced from old shipping containers, Yoav Messer Architects reveals plans to construct a 525-foot bridge using old shipping containers.

The project stands to offer pedestrians access into Arie Sharon National Park. With about 800,000 shipping containers abandoned annually by the maritime services, the turn towards these said containers not only helps save on production cost while freeing them of stacked and useless containers.

The containers will be punctuated by balconies that would provide space and become a great space where folks can enjoy the views on each side. The bridge is set upon four columns, minimizing its impact on the ground.
