The Aluminum Packaging Recycling Organisation (otherwise knwon as ALUPRO) has created a cool new campaign to bring awareness to recycle aluminum drink cans.

Every Can Counts has a mission and that mission is to get employers on the bandwagon and encourage employees to recycle their drink cans. How? They plan to do this by facilitating the process from table to recycling bin.

What So Special About Aluminum?

Aluminium and steel – the materials used to make drink cans – are infinitely recyclable. This means they can be melted down and endlessly reused with absolutely no loss of quality, in what’s known as ‘closed loop’ recycling.

We all know that recycling makes sense. It saves energy and natural resources. And by using resources in a more sustainable way, we can help reduce our impact on the world.

By making sure that drink cans are sent to recycling centers, we are able to re-use this versatile material over and over again.

This is a UK program, but one that can easily be implemented here in the states, via some creative ideas.
