We are all aware that e-waste is a growing concern but if we are wise, we may want to follow the lead sent forth by designer Paola Mirai. Originally an art director, Paola researched and embraced Orotransperante, a super-light transparent material used in jewelry making.
Using chips and some lightweight computer stuff like chips and other electronic pieces, she was able to come up with something cheeky that could very well fit in the fashion wardrobe everyone has. With her research and knowledge, she takes apart the electronic pieces and reassembles them to come up with a tech-based jewelry which she calls as Cirkuita. Each hand-made piece is a one-off and no two pieces are ever the same.
