Garden chair made from wine barrels
The growing trend for wineries and breweries to use different materials for the products have given us the opportunity to buy product that are made from the old wooden barrels that were used in this industry before the introduction of aluminum, which is the product of choice now.
The materials that are used for these chairs, are recycled 70 gallon oak wine barrels, each slat being the taken from the barrels after the steel rings have been removed, as a nice little touch the name of the vineyard from where the wood came from is branded on the underneath of the seat, so it is quite nice to have a connection to the past.
There are several choices of wood finish, like ebony, mahogany and light oak color, these are then finished off with linseed oil, which further protects the wood from the elements, when left outside for long periods of time.
Price will cost $159
