Want to know a fantastic way to recycle Mardi Gras beads and used ties? Make jewelry with them.

That is what Laura Skelton has done at her Etsy shop. She is from New Orleans and has taken to re-using old Mardi Gras beads. She makes necklaces out of these used relics and as you can see from the pic above, they aren’t too shabby.

Two items are being re-used here, old Mens ties and beads. I particularly dig the necklace design above. Very Cute!
