Learn The Art of The Reclaimed Piece
Are you interested in learning how to turn an old tired item into something hot, sexy, and new (2 you). Made from Scrap, is a San Francisco based organization that is holding workshops starting in September that cover a few topics on reclaiming items you already possess. This sounds like alot of fun to me.
Their September schedule list includes the following groovy workshops:
- From Rags to Britches, Sept 17th, $30 (turn old pants into something new)
- From Plastic Bags to Kites, Sept 15th, $25 (self-explanatory)
- From Bottle Caps to Coffee Table, Sept 22, $30
Unfortunately these eco-friendly workshops are only available to local San Franciscans, in the BayView area. I wish they would videotape them, and make them available through YouTube. Now that would be a kicker. Even if they charged abit for access, that would be fine, too.
