Have you heard of the Local Reuse iPhone App? This is a green lifestyle app that helps you to find a good home for that gently used sofa, crib, stroller, jacket, table, etc.
Or maybe you’re looking for some gently used inexpensive items? Either way, Local Reuse has you covered.
How does it work? Simple really. Enter in your zip code and see what is currently available in your immediate area, if it’s something that you like/want/need then you contact the listee – and arrange for pick up.
You never know what nuggets of gold you might find, while scouring an app like this – so if you’re in the market for say a “used office desk”, give it a good go. A neighbor might have just bought a new bigger desk, and has one just sitting there needing a good home. Yours!
The free iPhone app is essentially a companion tool to the Gigoit site, which serves the same purpose. But for the mobile crowd.
