Maki is this fabulous fashion line by two sisters from Singapore who take old, discarded items and turns them into fantastic fashion treasures.
Their website states
The story of Maki Squarepatch is about taking discarded/untreasured items, bringing it home and giving it our special touch, and giving it a new life, a new love and a new home. With the same ideology, the motto of Maki Squarepatch is to recycle and reconstruct, for in anything that one person discards, there is somebody out there who will appreciate it and treasure it. Maki Squarepatch is about recycling any interesting materials that we can get our hands on and that we will be happy working with and recreating into something lovely and new.
