Mural Art Made From Recycled Marble Tiles
(**not the mural mentioned in article)
In El Paso, Texas students and faculty erect a mural made from recycled marble tiles.
University of New Mexico at Albuquerque students and artist Roberto Salas wanted to create art that showed “there are a bunch of ways to be an artist”. Loosely translated, this means that cool art can be made using upcycled materials.
The 200 foot long wall mural was completed in a week and finished just a few days ago, all made using reclaimed marble tiles.
**I could not find a pic of the mural in question, the one above is a mural from another university project.
