Eco-Friendly Printers

You may be wondering how computers and printers can do their part in contributing towards the green effort. Painting the cases and covers green? Actually it all needs a closer look. When you say green you consider the materials used in building such peripherals as well as how they were manufactured.

These include the recycled raw materials and the performance of these stuff. Energy efficiency is the most notable part of these printers that are sure to be addressed.

Overall, it would boil down to how these things would be available in the market. Being the known brand that HP is, consumers are sure to get their own eco-friendly printers once they see it on the vendor’s shelves.

“HP is focused on helping all of our customers – from consumers to enterprises – reduce their environmental impact,” said Vyomesh Joshi, executive vice president, Imaging and Printing Group, HP. “Over the past nine months we’ve helped several Fortune 500 customers realize up to a 30 percent reduction in their carbon footprint related to imaging and printing by using a variety of HP tools and services.”
