Phonebook Recycling In North Carolina
If you live in Raleigh, North Carolina and are wanting to properly dispose of used and or excess phone books, this week (April 27th – May 1st) there are additional facilities open to you for phonebook recycling.
In addition to the eleven Wake County Convenience Centers and the North Wake and South Wake Multi-Material Recycling Facility available year-round to Raleigh residents, you can drop off your old phonebooks at six additional recycling centers: (till May 1st)
• Brennan Station Shopping Center, 3005 Brennan Drive, behind the shopping center at the intersection of Creedmoor and Strickland roads;
• City of Raleigh Yard Waste Center, 900 N. New Hope Road. This site is only open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.;
• Jaycee Park, 2405 Wade Avenue;
• North Boulevard Plaza at Mini City in the 4500 block of Capital Boulevard, adjacent to the Food Lion; and,
• City of Raleigh Solid Waste Services Administrative Office, 400 W. Peace St. Open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. only.
If you’ve been meaning to get rid of your pile of bulky and paper heavy phonebooks, now is the time.
