Plastic bags good for the environment
The humble plastic bag is under fire from all quarters these days, yet many people do actually recycle them, probably without actually realizing it, of course there is the original purpose to carry shopping in, but once that has finished, a lot of people do reuse them as rubbish bags, storage and for other purposes before that do eventually get thrown away, so it would appear that these carrier bags are being recycled before being thrown away.
Some facts about plastic bags -
-They were created about twenty-five years ago. Hard to believe that they haven’t been around that long
-Plastic bags are banned in some countries and are heavily taxed in others
-Ireland has reduced the use them to 95% and some counties such as England is looking to do the same

The durability, strength, low cost, water and chemicals resistance, welding properties, lesser energy and heavy chemicals requirements in manufacture, fewer atmosphere emissions and light weight are advantages of plastic bags.”
