You just never know when umbrellas would come in handy. And while you can easily get one from a nearby store, design and sturdiness are perhaps the next things that would come into mind.
But a new umbrella promises to be more than protect you from getting wet or protect you in any potential weather condition. Called Ginko, this crowdfunded creation prides itself as something which was made using recycled polypropylene as well as the use of piecemeal parts which are interchangeable.
The umbrella can hence be easily repaired with recycled materials, just in case the need arises and umbrellas would somehow get damaged. The good thing about this umbrella is that rather than throw it away and add to the growing waste problem, you can simply change a piece and create a new one easily and give discarded materials a new chance at being useful.
