Recycled Books Make Great Journals

by erin on Sunday, June 10th, 2007

Artist Tyler Bender of Tyler Bender Co. takes the covers of old books, restructures them and fills them with unique recycled papers to make one-of-a-kind and beautiful journals. All the paper is hand-cut and then the journals are hand-bound with a hand-drill and a monofilament fishing line.

These books are so unique and beautiful and have so much charm, you’ll be inspired to write and create! Then you’ll feel guilty about it because these books are such works of art. But don’t be, you can always order another one!
Most journals are $40.00 and can be ordered through Etsy.
