Sphere made from recycled CDs coming to China

Using old CDs or DVDs and turning them into something artsy or functional has been done before and now it looks like the same concept is China-bound soon.
This was after reports that the MINIWIZ Sustainable Energy Development Ltd. has plans to build the iGreen – an aviation museum that features 5D movie theatres which will become the centerpiece at the Dream World park in Shanghai.
The sphere will have a diameter of about 50 meters and will become one of the largest structures in the world. Additionally, it will make use of 100% recycled CDs and DVDs – designed to withstand natural calamities such as typhoons and UV radiation. Once up, the structure will be one of the most impressive landmarks located over in China.
