The Recycling Problem of Plastic Waste

Apparently we are all aware that recycling is the best alternative to get rid of waste and convert them into something useful for our world today. Plastic has however posed some problems, being one of the materials that is indeed hard to recycle and this has been in turn becoming a problem for people all over the world.
Banning them is a good alternative but the problem is we are all very reliant on them as far as containers and other uses are concerned. Retailers are sure to be the first ones to complaint and unless someone comes up with a good alternative storage for their products, chances are we are not resolving the plastic waste problem we are now facing.
“You’re going to put the retailers on the defense, and the Illinois Retail Merchants Association is a pretty strong lobby,” said Peter Adrian, a member of the task force and recycling coordinator for the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County.
