One of the materials that people are trying to recycle are the used tires which normally have problems as far as proper disposal is concerned. But as far as Maritime International Inc. is concerned, turning these old tires into marine fenders has proven to be a great move to add to their environmental efforts needed by companies as far as their operations are concerned.

Manufactured from 100% recycled waste truck tire material that would otherwise need to be land-filled. The operational benefit of these marine fenders is their inherent durability for docks that require significant abrasion resistance rather than energy absorption.

Among their clients to date include Shell, Kinder Morgan, Port of Los Angeles, Valero, Cargill, Motiva, Ergon, Total Petroleum, Capital Terminals and the Port of Alabama. As they continue to expand, expect more companies to add to that corporate portfolio.
