Vinyl records may be a thing of the past but with the right frame of mind, these things can still be useful. We have seen them used as clock faces or some even as lamps. But now they are being recycled into something that would technically resurrect them towards the music world.
This will be in the form of recycled guitar picks. Especially now with the triumph of Philip Phillips from the recently concluded American Idol, guitar sales are bound to rise. The new guitar picks are handcut from old vinyl records where the glossy black picks still actually bear banded grooves of what they actually gave out before.
Each guitar pick is meticulously sanded down to ensure perfect strumming for every chord. Each set comes with six recycled record guitar picks that are cut into shape by hand. What’s more, the vinyl produces a crisper sound than traditional nylon picks.
