Live in Beaconsfield, Australia and looking to green up your home or neighborhood? If so, there’s a new seven week course for suburban residents like you – who wish to go green. The Ecoburbia Living Smart Course.
This is part of an initiative started up by two locals (Shani Graham and Tim Darby) that has exponentially increased in popularity, as with each new class; further interest develops in surrounding areas.
The class itself teaches the following – although Shani and Tim note that each class is different and is based on who is actually participating. For example, apartment renters versus home owners.
The seven week course can cover up to ten topics including gardening, power, water, transport and waste. Topics that Ms Graham feels are what come to mind first when thinking about sustainable living.
