PC Mag Stops Print Edition, Goes Digital Instead
With rising print and shipping costs, not too mention the slowing economy. PC Magazine will go all digital starting with the January 2009 issue.
This doesn’t surprise me really, as it is much more expensive to distribute print material than digital format material. The CEO of PC Magazine explains the change below.
“Moving our flagship property to an all-digital format is the final step in an evolutionary process that has been playing out over the last seven years,” said Jason Young, CEO of Ziff Davis.
The all digital format begins with the 2009 issue. Happy New Year!
