Wegman Goes Green, Reduces Packaging
To curb costs and also at the request of customers, Wegmans has decided to switch to more eco friendly packaging for its salad bar containers.
As part of the change, the company’s Asian Wokery Bar food containers will switch from pure, bleached paper to 100 percent recycled paper. Shoppers will also be able to choose a similar 100 percent recycled container at the company’s salad and food bars.
