Conergy has come up with another alternative energy solution with the completion of a massive 1.8 MW solar electric energy system over in Pennsylvania. The new solar farm is reportedly the 8th largest one put up over there, transforming a 6.5 acre area into a clean energy producing facility that will likewise bring up new jobs for their energy requirement needs.
An annual savings of $250,000 will be saved with the new solar farm, something which will produce about 2.3kWh during peak times. The solar farm will also power the treatment and transportation of water for about 500,000 residents in 27 municipalities.
Additionally, it will also fend of more than 50,000 tons of carbon dioxide and related greenhouse gasses from entering Pennsylvania’s air. That is the equivalent of 170,070 gallons of gasoline, and it will reduce CO2 emissions by 2 million pounds annually.
