Cool Solar Powered Speakers By Pekka

by Missy on Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

Looking for a set of solar powered speakers that are flexible, can be used at night, and are pretty cool looking?

If so take a look at the new solar powered speakers from a company called Pekka Salokannel (not exactly easy to remember – they need a nickname) which have all of the above mentioned features and more.

As the Treehugger blogger mentions, the Pekka Salokannel solar powered speakers are cool because they are portable and  flexible. You can easily use  them on different gadgets including your laptop, as a tabletop speaker, or for your iPod.

With Summer right around the corner (or already here depending on where you live) outdoor activities are sure to increase, and if you’re like me – you love to take music with you – everywhere. The bike ride, the park, the picnic, the volleyball game, etc.

Leave the batteries at home, try the Pekka Salokannel solar speakers and listen to your fave tunes with speakers powered by the sun.

They definitely need a new name. They look like flowers..maybe the company could change the name to something along those lines? Promote the green message while giving identity to an awesome product...
