DIY water distiller
This is great idea and can be made fairly cheaply and from products that are quite easily obtainable.
What is does, is you can put any water into it, and the sunlight will do the rest for you. The end product being perfectly safe drinking water.
The hardest part is the shaping of the mirror, this will take a lot of work, but once that has been done then the rest is fairly straight forward.
