Easy To Install Solar Panels

by David Allen on Thursday, March 12th, 2009

One of the main things that put people off from buying solar panels is the cost of the units and the installation. Even a small unit can run into thousands of dollars to buy and install, so in the current financial climate an investment like that is out of the question for a lot of people. There is another problem; people who live in apartments cannot have a solar unit on the roof, unless they own the penthouse of course.

However there is a solution to all of these problems and it comes from Veranda Solar, they have produced a cost effective method of providing solar power that can be installed without the need of an expert. The tray like panels are fitted right outside the windows, installation can be done in a couple of hours and each panel will produce around seventy watts of power.

I am glad that green technology is becoming more accessible to the general population. Although, it is obvious with a price tag running a thousand dollars or higher that we have a long way to go.
  • Solar panels provide clean and renewable energy. I use one, and I'm really happy with it.
