Largest and Single Concentrated Solar Power Plant coming in Q3

We have heard of a lot of up and coming solar power plants set to be unveiled this year and as far as the Shams 1 is concerned, the third quarter of 2013 is it.
The Shams 1 is said to be the world’s largest single unit concentrated Solar Power plant which was reportedly supported by the United Nations by way of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). The solar power plant is a project made possible through the partnership of Abenggoa Solar, Total and Masdar, a 100 MW parabolic facility that should help reduce carbon emissions over in Abu Dhabi.
About 175,000 tons of carbon emissions will be reduced annually by this solar power plant, roughly equivalent to about 15,000 cars used on roads.
