Solar Powered Lawn Mowers

Solar Powered Lawn Mower

We have all been accustomed to cutting our grassy lawns with the usual gasoline-powered lawn mowers. But while this is a common sight we see today, there really has to be something done especially now that gas prices are rising as each day goes by.

Using alternative energy in the form of solar power can really be a good way to power our usual lawn mowers and this machine is sure to help change the usual gas powered lawn mowers by making use of solar power. Besides, you normally mow the lawn during the morning or the afternoons when the sun is up so why not make use of the rays to power your mowers?

Now that the manual lawn mower can accept the solar panels, we can soon expect the automatic or robotic lawn mowers to accept the same eco-friendly technology.

The price and the availability of the machine is yet a mystery however if you plan to convert your current engine with solar panels, the expected cost for the conversion is around $1,500.
