Solar Powered Learning thru Boats

Solar Powered Schools via Boats

For some places which may have a hard time coping up in building their educational upkeep, some innovations may yet be a good way to help them learn. But for the countries filled with rich rivers that eventually become riddled with floods, here is a boat that can actually become a classroom as well.

We have heard of flooding issues in countries like the Philippines too, posing a hindrance to their learning schedule. But these solar powered boats which are made from locally sourced materials should be a nifty solution for all that.

The boats feature rooftop solar panels and have small libraries with computers and even an Internet connection. One boat can accommodate 30 students.

During the rainy season, the boats will collect students from riverside villages and will usually dock at a safe location to host the classes. In the evening, the boats will show educational programs via sail cloths and students together with their parents can watch helpful classes in agriculture, finance, health, and hygiene.
