Solar Powered Wave Glider Robot

With the intent of studying waters, the solar-powered Wave Gliders should be something to add a green touch to the efforts of scientists or explorers. They come in the shape of surfboards which can also reportedly detect the presence of tagged sharks which should happen to swim within a thousand feet.

Once it detects the presence of a shark, the glider robot immediately notifies the closest laboratory. The glider robot was primarily made to help improve the way researchers study the oceans and have also been used to measure the impact of oil spills.

Whatever the case, this should be a handy device to improve studies being carried out, all done through the use of alternative power in the form of solar energy which should defy all issues surrounding the proper use of electricity for worthy causes and research.
