Solarmer Energy Eyeing 10% Efficiency from Plastic Solar Cells

It seems that an 8% efficiency from plastic solar cells is not enough and now Solarmer Energy is eyeing to up that a notch, 10% efficiency by the end of the year. And that is just the start. Apparently they are eyeing more as the years progress which should be something positive to consider especially in these times that energy sources are becoming a problem.

Considering that solar power is certainly going to be an important part of our future, we certainly hope that they get great results in improving solar technology. With all the rant about solar power to rev up vehicles, homes and gadgets, this will certainly be something that will work to our advantage.
