Wind Turbines to Power Philly Stadium

Even in the NFL , it would only be a matter of time before the teams would eventually hop in the green energy bandwagon. And the latest one (if not the first) to do that seems to be the Philadelphia Eagles whom have reportedly turned to wind turbines to help power up their stadium.
The Eagles called on the Urban Green Energy or UGE to install 14 micro wind turbines, located in two sets of seven at opposing ends of the field. The turbines are connected to the stadium’s grids which should help bring down the power consumption needed at daytime and putting more to the grid once night time comes.
With the integration of the wind turbines, the Philly stadium will now generate more power compared to other stadium in the NFL.
