The Call of Eco-Villages
It is easy to declare that anyone can contribute and do their part towards the drive for a greener world today. While some have a hard time believing that this can be achieved, joint hands from various parts of the world can help make this premier and common goal happen.
Many have been too busy wondering at how the events came down to having to resort to doing sacrifices and avoiding usual vices such as smoking today. These are the main contributors towards the continued dilapidating world we live in and one phase to turn to is to acknowledge the efforts of eco-village set up in key parts of the world such as Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Many have the wrong notion that eco-villages hide something of value; things and practices that deprive people from enjoying life and living the world in the manner to which they have been for most of their lives. But the reality of global warming and climate change should be more than enough to justify that it may come down to a point where none of these things may even be enjoyed anymore. The world has become a ticking bomb and most of it is owed to the negligible efforts put henceforth by all people in the world today.
“Many people think living in an ecovillage would be a life of sacrifice. But research shows that residents have lowered their ecological footprints and financial costs, and maintain closer bonds with their neighbors, all of which translates to a less stressed, more fulfilling lifestyle,” – Green Acres: Communities Reduce Ecological Footprints
