Google are well known for their good intentions division Google.org, they give out cash to worthy causes and it seems that saving the planet sounds like a worthy cause these days. Which is probably why Google.org is investing $10.25 million into the natural way of producing power, geothermal energy?

When is freezing cold outside and the heating is on inside, it is sometimes difficult to judge how cold it is on the other side of the door.
But with this solar powered thermometer you should never get caught out again, and this takes it power from the sun then there are no power issues either.

Google (GOOG) just announced that they are investing $125 million in BrightSource Energy, a company that focuses on generating solar energy.
You never hear these things from Microsoft or any other big tech companies but it’s great to hear that Google is focusing on the brighter future for our earth.
I did notice Google.org, which is Google site dedicated to putting off some of their revenue for things like this.

I suppose that it could be common sense that a black screen on the monitor of your computer would use less power than a brilliant what one. So is Google reasonable for causing climate change? I’ve written about Google a lot lately. They are really making strides to ensure that their company is as green as can be.

The Google guys switched on those very impressive solar panels at the Mountain View complex yesterday, progress can be seen via the Google Solar Panel Project.
