This is a really great bag that is made from recycled soda bottles and has enough solar power to charge up a lap top, which is totally cool by anyone’s standards. However, there is one slight feature that a lot of people are not going to be too happy with; it will cost you around $600!

If you sometimes like to get out and do some PC work in your backyard or by the pool. Take a look at SunTable, an outdoor solar table.
The outdoor solar table lets you power up your laptop via the Suns rays. The table is rather long, allowing more items than a single PC. It is also water-resistant. The table is a neat idea, and would be great for those who spend a good deal of time on the internet.
Approximate charge load is 4 hours, plenty of

Do you need some serious 32.2 watts of sun power? Then, you need to get one of these foldable solar panels which are perfect for outdoor laptoping. Heck, you could probably even power a portable eletric BBQ device with it. (Then again, you’d probably better off gas for that…)
Here’s a rugged 32.2 watt folding solar panels you can take with you on your next outdoor trip. Although we do not recommend being connected to the intern

Although only a concept, there should be plenty of new solar powered laptops available by the next 1-2 years.

There are many people who have been waiting for something like this to come along, the solar powered laptop, the panels charge up the battery and the computer is good to go.
The solar panel could be removed from the laptop and the battery can then be charged up by the main electric power, this is great for people who work outside a lot, because two to three hours of battery is not much use for anyone.

Most towns have local PC repair guys, especially useful are the independent guys. If you happen to have one nearby, look to him or her, next time you are looking to dispose of your used laptop, desktop, monitor, printer, etc.
Chances are if the electronic is still operational, your local PC shop, can turn around and either resell this item or donate it to a local school or organization. I would start with a phone call and see what options mate

At last the power of the sun can charge up the laptop!
This is a very handy piece of kit, which will be in great demand from a variety of people who use their laptops while being out and about. It can be used inside or out, so even the limited amount of light in a room will power this up, which is ideal for remote areas.
It is quite expensive though at $800

This is a great idea for being outside away from the house and when you are unable to run a power lead up to where you are sitting. But with this table all that changes for it is covered with solar panels and has storage batteries too.
The table will produce enough power the keep the batteries fully charged, but you can run a TV, DVD player, Laptop or anything else that you want to use outside, this is really brilliant, you could up to three ho

Great way to make your own laptop bag from an old pillowcase and a bit of know how. This is great idea and nice way to make something slightly different than anyone else might have.
What you are going to need:
A pillow case sham (with the opening in the middle)
Strong scrap fabric for liner (you can use canvas)
A strap of some kind (again use something strong, like linen tape, but you could use a belt or cut the strap off of a thrift store purs

This is a great little device which charges almost anything from cameras to iPods and virtually everything in between but by only using the sun. What it can do is save any embarrassing battery failures while in the middle of an important conversation. It will also charge from a laptop via the USB port.
What’s included in the kit:
1 x powermonkey-eXplorer unit
1 x solar-slave
1 x universal mains charger which will work in over 150 countries

This is an excellent use of recycled carpet and wood, no need to worry about the size of your laptop because these are made to your specifications. So that means these computer sleeves can be made to order and to the available materials, which will vary according to availability.
The sleeve is lined with felt so that the laptop will not get scratched at all.
The laptop bags from the Cut Pile collection cost only $30

Clement Eloy has designed these neat slippers that you hook up to the power brick of your laptop. It’ll keep your feet nice and warm. It seems a little sketchy and dangerous, but Eloy has lots of different prototypes you can check out on his website.
