World’s First Green Credit Card

On July 25th, General Electric will be unveiling the first credit card in the United States with rewards dedicated to reducing cardholders’ carbon emissions and fighting climate change. New York City to Get Green Taxis

The Mayor of New York City, Michael Bloomberg has announced that the city’s taxi fleet will consist of completely hybrid models by the year 2012. This initiative is part of the greater plan to reduce NYC’s greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by the year 2030.
