Ok. I’m all for the environment. I don’t buy leather shoes anymore and I really adore the green Simple brand of footwear. But, once in awhile, style trumps eco friendly. See below.
The green shoes above are made using sustainable wool and recycled fasteners. But as you can see they are not all appealing. Sorry Patagonia, but you dropped the ball big time here.

It is very interesting that so many items are now being made from wood, this clearly is a step back in time to when there was no metalwork’s or foundries. However, these have the feel of something like you would get in a Chinese restaurant, made from a nice soft sustainable wood. The set is eco friendly to produce and is biodegradable to dispose of when finished with.

Eco living demands that there are certain things, low energy, solar power, recycling and the use of sustainable materials, but this is often difficult when it comes to the actual home itself, until now that is!

What a great way to promote sustainable products, these are made from cork which is a totally sustainable product that comes from a tree. But unlike the cork that pops out of a wine bottle these are an entirely different thing altogether in fact unless you take a real close look at these items it is pretty hard to tell that is in fact cork and not some precious stone or something.
