Ikea already has a great image with the eco friendly people of the world, after all, they do sell some eco friendly goods. Furthermore, everything is flat packed in storage and the transportation is kept to a minimum.

But, it seems that Ikea is going even further than that with a a $77 billion investment into its Green Tech Energy Fund. The idea being to develop a reasonably priced solar panel kit for use in the home. Sounds great, because

It makes not difference if the cars are green or not, they are still not as green as they could be, the same can go for many other types of transport, but there is one form of transportation that is totally free, eco friendly and now can even produce electricity into the bargain.

If you talk about eco-friendly vehicle manufacturing these days, you have to consider the direction to which most companies are leaning on: environmental concerns or profit.

The great thing about living the eco friendly life is that so many things can be considered “Green” these days, but one thing that could have been over looked is Chocolate. You would have thought that considering all of the transportation that is involved that it could not even be considered as green. However it is not the miles that count, its how they are travelled!
