A healthy home is made by healthy green products. For Pacific Dry Goods, it is more than just offering green products such as the EcoTowl and the EcoSponge. It is about donating a portion of products sold to the Save the Earth Foundation which is sure to go a long way.
The EcoTowl is made from viscose, a natural fabric made from harvested fibers for trees grown in sustainable forests. It is reusable and also made from bamboo and corn.

Over at Earth First, they have a neat column in which they feature a series of green colleges. This week they feature College of the Atlantic, in Maine.

Considering that the school is dedicated to ecology, it’s no surprise that it’s often called ‘the greenest of them all’. All 325(!) students are personally committed to making the college as green as possible, and not just by planting lots of trees. They activel

Here’s an aesthetically great lookin’ pot that glows at night with the solar energy absorbed during the day. It’s a great fit for any home garden that need light at night.
But what if the pot is shaded by trees, walls or fences, we hear you ask? No problem because its solar cell is on a separate spike connected to the pot via a 3m cable. Simply stick it in the ground and hide the cable. Genius, and no mains wiring required. W

Now having a “green” lawn is not the same as having a green lawn, if you know what I mean! This is what the National Gardening Association had a survey of over two thousand people to find out which of these (Below) eco friendly practices they would like to follow for the next season.
1. Water lawn and plants only when they need it: 63%.

Paper is known to be one resource that most offices need a lot. While we cannot control the times we have to edit and make relevant changes to the hard copies we ultimately have to print and send out, one thing that we can see is that throwing the erroneous paper in the waste cans is contributing towards building waste.
In the process, we are throwing away resources which we often get from trees.
Paper recycling is something we all know to be i

With all the controversies surrounding the use of paper and its manner of production, this should not stop people from doing business and handing out their personal cards. But while we all know that the source of business cards are the usual paper and cardboards that make use of trees and other natural resources prior to printing, using eco-friendly or recycled paper is a great way to go green for starters.

Christmas is a time of giving gifts. While one aspect of gift giving is how to wrap them up and give them to the people to that they were bought, another aspect deals with presentation and gift wrapping which some have trouble depicting as well. While many people feel that the lesser cost of using any gift wrapping paper is a lesser problem, for the environment’s sake, it poses a big issue as well.
One just has to figure out how these wrapper

How super would this be? A nice reusable tree that can live on for years to come.
Originally they are around eighteen to twenty four inches in height, but if looked after correctly they can last a long and grown quite a bit each year. They come from the Rocky Mountains which well known for the pine trees that grow there.
This tree comes in a pot that is covered with a sack and ribbon.

This is not your standard canvas tote bag for it has a very poignant verse printed on it, which should make everyone think about what is happening to the world today and tomorrow.
The text reads:
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize that we can’t eat money.
Makes you think doesn’t it?
