Raw sewage being poured into the sea is a big problem, yet it continues to happen. Now, it is the UK’s surfers who are getting the full force of it. They know what it is like to become ill through all sorts of waste being poured into the seas, hence the auction of famous people’s artwork, which raised £77,000 ($150,000).

When it gets to that time of year when all the leaves begin to fall, wouldn’t it great if there was some sort of use for them, well there is now and it is a pretty good use too.

Just take a look at this furniture it looks cool, and believe it or not this furniture is made from leaves, twigs and bark, which is a really good use for something that would almost certainly be wasted if it was not used for some other purpose like this.

Eco friendly innovators Terra Cycle have a NEW1 bag out, this one is made with recycled plastic bags.
Terra Cycle fuses about 20 grocery shopping plastic bags together to come up with the Plastic Bags Bag. I think they are quite cute. I cant tell how sturdy they are, so i cant vouch for that. But they do look good, and they do good. There are so many plastic bags that circulate in shops, it is so terribly wasteful.

The whole month may, people in the UK will be able to recycle their old shoes. Shoes are one of the worst items of clothing to recycle as many places will not take them to sell on for one reason or another. But this idea from Terra Plana is simply fantastic.
