Holly Fisher is one of very few women blacksmiths in the US. She is garnering some mini eco fame, with her amazing recycled metal sculptures.
Pictured above is Job, a hand forged recycled steel horse sculpture made by Holly. Isn’t it gorgeous? These are all hand made. You can find some of her pieces in the Kalamazoo, Michigan Smartshop Art Gallery. (of which i cant find a website URL for)

A few years ago, vegetable powered cars were starting to creep up in mainstream roads. I found a neat video on YouTube that explains what veggie cars are, and whether this is ever going to become a viable power alternative for our cars. Some students are learning how to power vehicles with used cooking vegetable oil. Just don’t forget some might think you spent all day at Burger King. (b/c of the veggie oil food smell) Watch the video below

KillaCycle is an electric motorcycle on steroids, it goes 0-60 in like less than a minute. That is high speed biking. The bike is powered completely by lithium ion batteries and has reached record speeds of up to 155mph.

Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Matt Damon, Jason Biggs, Sarah Silverman and Joshua Jackson have all signed on to this new YouTube project called “Clean My Ride, Flex My Fuel.” It will be a series of cheesy environmental ads, designed to create more eco-awareness.
