Architecture Week Starts This Friday!
Architecture Week in the United Kingdom starts this Friday, on June 15th.
The week was invented to encourage people to learn more about the buildings they use everyday, to take greater interest in the environment and to learn about how these buildings and their daily usage affects the environment.
This year’s theme is “How Green is Our Space?” It was chosen with the idea of getting people to question how they use their daily space and hoe to make this usage more environmentally friendly in mind.
There are A LOT of interesting events and exhibits so if you are in London, check out the full schedule of events here.
This is the 11th year for this event and it is organized by Arts Council England, the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). It runs until June 24.
