Californians have to pay the highest Gas Prices!
It’s true, Californians pay most gas taxes out of all U.S. residents. As you can see in the above map, California makes up more than 5% of all gas taxes paid.
Do I feel ripped off about this as a resident of San Francisco?
Hell, yes, this is a free country, why isn’t gas tax distributed evenly along the country? Gas should be more expensive inland not toward the seaside.
If you happen to live in San Francisco, you can always hit up the Twin Peaks Gas station on every Wednesday for some really low gas prices.
Darn… I need to live in Arizona or somethin’… California taxes are ridiculous…
